Apple Challenges Woolworths Over Logo / TradeMark Similarities

Apple is no stranger to trademark disputes. After filing an infringement claims to NYC Company last April 2008, they are now challenging Australian supermarket named "Woolworths" over logo similiarities.

Woolworths supermarket describes their logo as a stylised ‘W’ which represents their company with the addition of an abstract leaf symbol which indicates fresh food.

For those who doesn't know, Woolworths is an Australian company which is the second largest private employer in Australia. They offer the finest quality fresh food, with the best possible customer assistance.

If you're asking me about my opinion, I think Woolsworth and NYC & Company logo seems to be far more similar than Apple's logo. Take a look at their logo.

I will not be confused if it's Woolworths or Apple logo because Apple has a bite on their apple logo. Even though it seems that Woolworths Supermarket has an abstract logo of an apple, it is still so obvious that it's not the logo of Apple's Corp. Apple is a well-distinguished corporation and widely known in different parts of the globe. Even a 3 year-old child knows their logo.

HOTMAIL ACCOUNTS HACKED

This is the worst news today! Thousands of passwords of Windows Live Hotmail were leaked online! It was reported in Neowin.net that they received information that thousands of hotmail accounts were hacked. It was stated that over 10,000 US and UK accounts' password were posted in Pastebin.com. They said that it was posted by an anonymous user in Pastebin.com. It was said that not only your hotmail accounts is at risk but also other accounts like XBL, Zune, Hotmail,Connect Login,, and WLM.

PASSWORDS POSTED AT PASTEBIN.COM - HOW TRUE?

We know that Pastebin.com is a collaborative debugging tool or web application which allows the user to share and modify code snippets while chatting on IM, IRC or in the message board. So there is an anonymous user who posted thousands of Microsoft's Windows Live Hotmail which includes @hotmail.com, @msn.com and @live.com accounts last October 1, 2009. Some people said that accounts starting at A and B were the only accounts listed there. Some said that this is is not actually new to Pastebin.com. They saidd that there's nothing new going on that happened on the 1st of October. They said that they always saw passwords listed every month in that site and it might happened that Hotmail passwords listed on October 1 is this was done by either phishing or keyloggers. Some said that somebody from outside or inside the company broke into Microsoft's server that's why passwords were being shown up in Pastebin.com.

In order to check whether it's a fake news or not we tried to visit Pastebin.com. We haven't seen it yet but this news was posted in different technology sites like Neowin.net, Technmeme, and many more. But when we visit Pastebin.com it shows this message - "Network Timeout." So it seems that the website is currently down due to thousands to millions of people who are trying to access this website.

This is really disturbing news. So if you have Hotmail, MSN, or Live account, it's better to change your password and the security answer. Webmaster or owner of Pastebin.com haven't given their statement yet regarding this issue. And as of now, Microsoft is investigating this problem and it was said in BBC News that they will take immediate action to solve this case.

ARCANE FORMULA - It teaches how to create the rarest and most powerful magical items in the game which is known as the artifacts.
